See All ReviewsDelaware Canal Trail Review Biking the Delaware Canal Trail was one of the most peaceful rides I’ve had in a long time. The path follows the old canal, with still waters on one side and stretches of forest and open views on the other. At times, I passed small lakes and quiet streams, and even spotted turtles sunning on logs. The sound of birds and the breeze through the trees made the ride feel almost meditative. The trail itself is flat and well-kept, making it easy for both casual riders and those looking to cover longer distances. Restrooms are available, but only at certain entry points, so I recommend planning ahead before you start your ride. What stood out most to me was the calmness—there weren’t many crowds, and I could really take in the scenery without distraction. If you’re looking for a mix of history, nature, and a stress-free ride, the Delaware Canal Trail is an ideal spot.
Always like it..some bike riders give no warning of their approach. Be careful.
